MARINA COVE NEWSLETTER (MARCH 2001) 

1.      Garbage Bins

Since the use of garbage bins provided by the Management Office, the hygienic condition of the estate has improved. The use of garbage bins has brought a sense of tidiness to our estate as well. Resident who wants to get one garbage bin is requested to come to Management Office to fill in the application form.

Moreover, we would like to advise all residents again that please do not dispose garbage at neighbor¡¦s area or near the public garbage bins as this will cause inconvenience to others and affect the tidiness and nice environment of our estate.

 

2.   Proximate Card

After the contracting company made improvement on the Proximate Card System, the outcome is quite satisfactory.  Management Office is going to issue cards to residents in April 2001.  We will issue circular to notify all residents on the details soon.

 

3.      Replacement of damaged water pipe

Over 60 houses¡¦ water pipes ( located at the ceiling of the carport ) are found seriously eroded.  We have arranged technical team to proceed the water pipe replacement work by section.  Since this project will take times to finish, affected residents, please be patient in waiting for your turn !

     

4.     Estate Security

Recently, the night security guards successfully prevented two cases of burglary.  Moreover, they chased back resident¡¦s assets in one of the captioned burglary case.  We will like to remind residents again to be security cautious and to shut all windows and lock doors before going out or sleeping.

 

5.      Installation of Fence at Dioramic Rise Car Park Area

Questionnaires from residents regarding the security loophole between the shopping center and the Dioramic Rise car park area find that most of the residents agree to install a metal fence there.  We are now inviting contractors to quote for this project.

  

6.      Unauthorized Parking

Management Office once again would like to request for your co-operation as unauthorized parking will cause inconvenience to neighbor(s) and danger to pedestrian(s).  To avoid the problem from getting serious, Management Office will strictly carry out the duty of impounding vehicle(s) starting from this month, especially to those vehicle(s) fully occupying the pavement. Your support and understanding to this matter will be highly appreciated.

 

7.      Unauthorized House Structures

We would like to remind all house owners that all the unauthorized structures/extensions including carport conversion, open space sealing, external wall alteration, roof extension and basement excavation, etc. are illegal.  The Building Department conducts weekly inspection of illegal structures in our estate. Therefore, in order not to break the law and cause damages, residents are requested not to build any illegal house structures, especially those fixed carport tents, which obstruct the pavement or the growth of tree(s).  Let us cooperate to upkeep the nice environment of our estate.

 

8.      Management Committee Meeting

The 15th meeting of 5th Management Committee of the Incorporated Owners of Marina Cove will be held on 22nd March 2001 (Thursday), 8:30 p.m. at Club Marina Cove.  Interested owners please contact Miss Li of the IO office for arrangement.
